The starting point of drawing

Since I was a child, I have been passionate about drawing. I would give my stick figure drawings to strangers I met, and like many others, I would doodle in my textbooks; any subject's textbook could become my canvas. This love for art not only allows me to enjoy the creative process but also inspires me to start teaching drawing. Through teaching, I have witnessed the creativity of children, and I realize that much of that imagination often fades as we grow up, as the world of adulthood is not easy.

The Career Journey of an Illustrator

After graduating, I immersed myself in the illustration industry as a full-time illustrator. I have created numerous picture books and artworks for toy companies and educational publishers. During this time, I experimented with designs based on different themes and explored various color combinations and styles.

Reflections on Time and Life

In the midst of my busy work, I often reflect on the meaning of time and life. The repetitive nature of daily tasks has made me feel a loss of passion for life. I began to yearn for a more meaningful approach to creativity, seeking artistic forms that bring me inner peace. I also want to rediscover the curiosity and imagination that I gradually lost as I grew older.

By chance, I found myself involved in a piece of installation art related to ceramics. When I first came into contact with clay, I discovered a deep curiosity within me. The uncertainty inherent in ceramic creation kept me eager to explore and learn more. After a period of exploration and learning, I decided to open my own ceramics studio. My goal is to create pieces that carry warmth and character, allowing everyone who encounters them to experience a sense of simple joy.
